Paolo Nutini will pay tribute to his mentor, and founder of Atlantic Records, the late Ahmet Ertegun when he takes part in a concert in Ertegun's honour at the 02 arena on Monday November 26. The mighty Led Zeppelin will headline a bill that also includes rock 'n' roll greats Pete Townshend, Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings.
Profits from the gig will go to the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund which provides students with annual scholarships to universities in the UK, USA and Turkey.
Tickets are priced £125 and, due to the anticipated overwhelming demand for this concert, will be available by ballot only. Fans should register their names at www.ahmettribute.com.
Names will then be chosen at random. There will be seating and standing tickets and fans will be able to express a preference at the website. Due to the expected unprecedented demand, tickets will be limited to 2 successful applicants per household.
